Passion is often described as a strong feeling or emotion, it is the excitement and enthusiasm one feels which can hardly be controlled, and therefore passion is usually outspoken, impulsive and explosive because of its uncontrollable nature. However, inner passion varies from the usual passion because most times inner passion is buried within and its existence is only known to the person who possesses such passion. Inner passion varies depending on the individual; it can be dancing, singing, acting, cooking, writing, talking and many more. Whatever it may be, the inner passion is what the individual wants to do. It’s a manifestation of heart desire or one’s greatest dreams or fantasies.
A person who has an inner passion can spend the majority of their time doing what they love without getting tired which is why people are advised to follow their inner passion without remorse or regret. A person with passion is always thought of being more driven and ambitious than a person without passion for what they are doing. There are a number of reasons a person can abandon their inner passion, some of the reasons are:
• Their inner passion might be looked upon as childish or being lazy by people who aren’t in support of their passion.
• The inner passion might be expensive to pursue like a career in music which requires money to pay for studio sessions which is where often times a detour occurs but lack of money or funds should not be a stumbling block, not a dead end as you can still keep writing music if that’s really where your passion lies.
• People are often told they are too old to follow their inner passion.
• Pressure to follow the rules set by society and pressure to start earning money forces individuals to abandon their passion which has not started producing profits or gain. There are many more reasons, but while all the reasons stated above can be perfectly understood it is no excuse for not living your best life which is only possible when you embrace and cultivate your inner passion.
It is often advised to live a life void of regrets a person should have 3 hobbies or in this case passion, one to earn money , the second for fun and the third to keep in shape. For example, a person who loves talking, writing and running can be a lawyer to make money, write for a hobby and run to keep in shape or however, they decide to structure it, but the most important thing is to live a life full of passion. Just like each person has a unique fingerprint, each also has an exceptional talent and ways to execute their talents.
These talents often become their inner passion, so it’s important to follow their unique paths to cultivating their passion and not follow another person’s methods or paths because everyone has a unique path like fingerprints.
